Tis the season to go Iftar...ing

I'm dying here! The humidity has arrived! It sucks the life out of you and night time outside is not much better. But we braved it last week and I went to my first Iftar - the breaking of the fast each night during Ramadan.

The Ramadan tent we went to was at a hotel on the beach next to the Burj (below). Amazing setting, floodlit beach, intricate Arabian interior - think of a wedding marquee x 1000!!!

Below is only a little taste of what it was like inside. Many little booths with tables, couches, bean bags, just gorgeous. Out the glass doors was a purpose made decking with more seating areas.

Inside our booth - food, drink, shisha...good times!
